Materials added to the campus libraries, either by purchase or donation, will normally be added to the regular open access collections. This provides the greatest ease of access to Library clients, encourages use of the materials and minimises initial cataloguing/processing and ongoing access costs.
The Special Collections below were accepted from their donors because they support the key research areas at Victoria University.
The VU Special Collections - How to access and use guide provides researcher stories, historical information about the individual collections, past exhibitions, and tips how to access and use the material.
The VU Archives holds historical material relating to Victoria University and its predecessors.
