Our nursing courses are provided by the College of Health and Biomedicine and Victoria Polytechnic.

Short courses 3 courses

Duration: 3 hours
This Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course is designed to teach the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain breathing and circulation in an adult, child or infant following cardiac arrest.
Duration: 1000 hours
EAP is a university and TAFE preparation course. It is designed for students with upper intermediate to advanced levels of English who want to gain admission to an Australian TAFE, undergraduate or postgraduate course.
Duration: 18 hours
Learn practical first aid skills and knowledge such as CPR, bandaging and splinting, and applying the principles of first aid safety. The course contains a blend of online and face to face learning.

Duration: 2 years

Launch a rewarding career as an enrolled nurse with a Diploma of Nursing.

Duration: 0.5 years

Bachelor degrees (undergraduate) 2 courses

Duration: 4 years
Prepare for a career supporting life and bringing new life into the world. Our double degree in midwifery and nursing gives you the knowledge and skills for two distinct, in-demand professions.
Duration: 3 years
Ensure you are a work-ready graduate by completing this course which meets requirements for registering as a Division 1 nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

The Doctoral degree in Nursing and Midwifery is an advanced research program offered across VU’s research focus areas and the major disciplines of our academic Colleges.
Duration: 4 years

The Doctor of Philosophy (Integrated) in Nursing and Midwifery provides an alternative pathway to a PhD for applicants who have not had previous research training and/or experience.
