Carmen oversees the Future Students (VTAC Applicants) team and schools engagement events and activities. Carmen has several years’ experience within the tertiary education sector and is currently undertaking postgraduate studies in marketing.

Future Student Adviser

Tricia supports secondary schools across metropolitan Melbourne and the Loddon Mallee region.  She coordinates the Early Entry Offer program (EEOP), VU’s VCE Revision Lectures, and two STEM activities offered by the College of Engineering and Science for secondary students in years 9+.

Tricia has a Bachelor of Arts from VU and a Graduate Certificate of Career Development. She brings a host of experience to the team from her background working in various roles in the secondary and tertiary education sector over the past 17 years.

Future Student Adviser

Adam supports secondary schools across metropolitan Melbourne, Geelong, and Victoria’s Western District. He facilitates Victoria University’s on-campus experiences and VU on the Road!, as well as organises the annual Western Metro TIS event.

Adam holds a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) and brings a range of experiences to VU from his work in University student recruitment offices in Queensland and the UK.

Lorna has a Bachelor of Business (Marketing), a Graduate Diploma of Education, and many years’ experience in the education sector.

Future Student Advisor, Pathways

Emma provides information and advice for students completing Pathways courses at Victoria Polytechnic, VU College and VU’s Pathway Partner Providers.  She coordinates a range of VU Pathways events and initiatives, as well as promoting Pathways in schools at major exhibitions and provides Pathways specific information and advice for Careers Practitioners.

Emma holds a Bachelor of Communications (Public Relations), Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing and brings 15 years’ experience working with students and staff in Melbourne Secondary Schools in Marketing, Events, Alumni and International Education

Future Student Advisor, Direct Applications (Undergraduate and Postgraduate)

Chris provides information and advice for students that are mature aged, returning to study, and thinking of changing careers. Chris runs one-on-one postgraduate consultations for prospective students, providing personalised study information. He also coordinates postgraduate events throughout the year.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Psychological Studies / Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) from VU and has several years’ experience working in the professional recruitment and training industry.

April oversees international student recruitment activities in Australia, Indonesia and Mauritius. April also coordinates teams to assist with enquiries from prospective international students and conduct conversion call activities to ensure international students receive the information they need before they enrol at Victoria University.
