Time Session Overview
8:30 - 9:30am Registrations Register, then join other careers practitioners, VU staff and students for tea, coffee and a mingle.
9:30 - 9:40am Introduction and Welcome Alex Sims (Director of Future Students) offers a warm welcome.
9:40 - 10:30am First Year Model Success Ian Solomonides (Vice President, Learning and Teaching) and Andrew Smallridge (Dean, First Year College) discuss the success of our First Year Model.
10:30 - 10:50am Morning Tea  
10:50 - 12:10pm First Year Model In-Depth Hear from current First Year Model students and staff, in small groups. Questions are encouraged. Learn about complementary activities and explore our new Learning Hubs.
12:10 - 1:00pm New Courses Updates Learn what new programs like our Bachelors of Criminology; Outdoor Education and Environmental Management; Fitness; and Building Design can offer your students.
1:00 - 1:45pm Lunch  
1:45 - 2:15pm Victoria University Polytechnic Our TAFE division will take you through what's new. You'll also hear about our award-winning blended-learning model.
