Council & Academic Board elections

University Council is the governing board of the institution (sometimes called a Senate or a Board of Governors). It provides an opportunity to be involved in University decision-making at the highest level, for both staff members and students.

Council

University Council is collectively responsible for determining the future of the institution, overseeing the institution's activities and fostering an environment in which the institutional Strategic Plan is achieved. Council traditionally meets 5 times a year at Victoria University Footscray Park Campus.

Members must act in the interest of the whole University rather than that of their constituencies.
