Anne-Maree's professional journey includes significant contributions to the education of young people within the youth justice system. Through her work at Parkville College, a Victorian Government school teaching young people in custody, she developed and implemented impactful education programs at Parkville and Malmsbury Youth Justice Centres.

Driven by a strong belief in the fundamental right to education and its transformative potential as a protective factor against re-offending, Anne-Maree assumed the role of an education transitions advocate. In this capacity, she actively supported young people in custody, secure welfare and the Melbourne Children's Court, to re-engage back into educational settings.

Anne-Maree's comprehensive knowledge and practical experience within youth justice, informs her holistic approach to education, ensuring that the well-being and individual needs of students are met while fostering their academic growth and personal development.
