Communication graduate Kayla McLeod leveraged the University’s industry connections to forge an exciting career in media.

"Victoria University was a great option for me as it presented diverse and relevant units to fit my career goals. What I loved about my course was the practical experience that I gained whilst studying. Taking on internships during my course allowed me to understand the pace of the industry and network with those within my field. VU also provided me with great support in refining my CV and cover letter and were there to assist me every step of the way.

VU staff have great relationships with industry and are highly experienced in their fields, with years of networking and diverse experiences behind them. This played a significant part in me gaining work as an Account Coordinator at Multi Channel Network. My lecturer advised me of the job opening and put me in touch with the Strategic Director of the Network.

Working in TV, I gained a great insight to the media industry and have worked across some exciting brands, developing campaigns, sponsorship opportunities and placing advertisements on some of our favourite TV shows and channels. I am now excited to be working with Bauer Media."
